An Associate Member is any person over 21 years of age who has been duly elected as such. An applicant needs to find a proposer and seconder who are either Ordinary or Associate Members to endorse the application form before submission to the Club. After election, all Associate Members are required to pay a one time, non-refundable, entrance fee and thereafter must pay such subscriptions and other charges as the General Committee may fix from time to time.
The entrance fee is currently HK$38,000 and the monthly subscription is HK$1,150. In addition a minimum food and beverage charge of HK$250 per month is imposed. After election, and after payment of the relevant fees, Associate Members are entitled to one vote, the vote is not transferable to their spouse or other third parties.
